Temperature at the process
Heat-exposed connections and ordinary machine wiring need separate specifications, based on the temperature at the cable route and the exposure time.
APPLICATION / PACKAGING MACHINERY
Wiring for filling, sealing and packaging machines.
For filling lines, we start from our food-equipment silicone cable: fine-stranded tinned copper with silicone insulation and sheath, 300/500 V, rated −60 °C (−76°F) to +180 °C (356°F) continuous and +200 °C (392°F) short-term, from 2 × 0.2 mm² to 10 × 2.5 mm².

AT A GLANCE
Each packaging-machine connection and the silicone cable we start from.
| Connection | Cable construction | Key point |
|---|---|---|
| Filling production lines | Food-equipment silicone cable | 300/500 V; 2 to 10 cores |
| Forming & sealing equipment | Selected per sealing station | Temperature at each station confirmed separately |
| Carton handling & conveying | Food-equipment silicone cable for fixed wiring | Minimum bend radius when moved: 10 × outside diameter. No continuous-flex cycle-life rating is given. |
INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS
Packaging-machine connections include filling lines, sealing stations and material handling.
Heat-exposed connections and ordinary machine wiring need separate specifications, based on the temperature at the cable route and the exposure time.
Conveying and handling bring motion into the selection. Fixed installation, repeated bending and twisting are different duties—not interchangeable ratings.
Food-packaging environments can involve moisture and cleaning agents. The cleaning regime and any food-contact requirement depend on the installation zone.
EQUIPMENT APPLICATIONS
This page presents the listed cable for filling-line wiring; sealing and moving-machine connections have separate temperature and motion requirements.

FILLING & DOSING
Filling lines are a typical application of our food-equipment silicone cable. Review the exact connection and installation conditions before specifying a cable.

FORMING & SEALING
Form-fill-seal and tray-sealing machinery are distinct packaging applications. Cable selection needs to account for the particular sealing station and the location of the connection.
SECONDARY PACKAGING
Carton packing, conveying and palletising are further packaging operations. Fixed wiring and moving connections should be specified separately.

It is not offered for direct food contact; suitability for your machine is confirmed with your drawing.
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
Review the datasheet for construction and sizes. Use your machine drawing to define the connection requirements.
Food-equipment silicone cable: construction, typical applications and size table.
Certification is model-specific; the marks on a datasheet do not replace a certificate.Have a drawing or an existing cable reference? Include it with the equipment function and required quantity.
BEFORE YOU SPECIFY
No. It is for equipment wiring and is not offered for direct food contact.
The factory datasheet describes the sheath as washable and suitable for disinfection. Compatibility with a specific cleaning agent, concentration and temperature requires separate test data.
From 2 × 0.2 mm² to 10 × 2.5 mm², with 2 to 10 cores and an optional fibre braid.
