Silicone wire & cable / Extra-Flexible Silicone Wires & Cables
Extra-Flexible Silicone Wires & Cables
Fine-strand silicone designs for compact routing and defined motion.
Compare conductor size, strand count and individual wire diameter. The factory 18 AWG single-core example uses 150/0.08 mm stranding and a 2.3 mm outside diameter; finer-strand and moving-cable designs can be developed to a separate project specification.

Conductor design
Extra-Flexible Silicone Wire: Strands and Dimensions
The factory extra-flexible single-core sheet explicitly lists 0.08 mm strands. Confirm the selected size and strand count rather than applying one build to every product.

Conductor Size, Strand Count and Wire Diameter
As one documented single-core example, the factory sheet lists 18 AWG with a 150/0.08 strand construction.
Silicone Insulation and Finished Wire Diameter
The same 18 AWG single-core example has silicone insulation and a listed 2.3 mm finished outside diameter. Conductor size is not the outside diameter.
Sheathed Cable Layers and Total Diameter
For a sheathed cable, confirm core count, area per conductor, insulation, wrapping and total outside diameter using its own specification. Do not transfer the single-core strand details to another series.

Single-Core Wire vs Extra-Flexible Sheathed Cable
Compare the complete build as well as the conductor flexibility.
| Format | Documented construction | Installation review |
|---|---|---|
| Extra-flexible single-core | Tinned-copper stranding and silicone insulation; selected AWG sizes have their own strand and diameter entries. | Confirm the selected wire, route, terminal fit and movement requirement. |
| Extra-flexible sheathed | The factory reference lists Class 6 tinned copper, silicone core insulation, tissue-paper wrapping and silicone sheath. | The reviewed application note describes fixed installation and occasional movement; repeated-motion duty needs separate confirmation. |
Motion & sourcing
Fine-Strand Options and Flex-Life Test Requirements
Choose a concrete strand or motion target, then verify the complete cable. The following custom options do not establish a category-wide flex-life rating.
Fine-Strand Conductor Options
For a finer-strand custom brief, discuss 0.05 mm or 0.07 mm individual-wire options. Set the strand count for the required cross-section and confirm finished diameter and terminal compatibility.
Repeated-Motion Cable Design Requirements
A high-temperature moving-cable candidate can combine Class 6 conductors, FEP core insulation, layered non-woven wrapping and a silicone sheath. A 10 × finished-diameter bend radius can be an initial qualification target, subject to the selected construction.
Flex-Life Test Conditions and Acceptance
Agree radius, travel, speed, acceleration, temperature, load, cycle counting and target cycles. Check continuity, shorts, sheath damage and kinking; publish results for the tested construction and conditions.
Custom & supply
Custom cable production and supply for your project
We manufacture custom cables to the agreed project specification. Share your drawing, operating conditions, quantity and delivery destination so we can define the construction, samples and supply terms.
Discuss your specification- Conductor and format
- Specify nominal size, strand build and whether you need a single-core wire or a sheathed cable.
- Dimensions and terminations
- Provide the outside-diameter limit, core arrangement and terminal or connector drawing.
- Motion and verification
- State radius, travel, frequency, tensile load, temperature and required tests or life.

Extra-Flexible Silicone Wires & Cables: questions before ordering.
What conductor details should I confirm?
Confirm nominal size, strand count and strand diameter for the selected wire. One documented extra-flexible single-core example is 18 AWG with 150/0.08 construction and a 2.3 mm finished outside diameter.
Can I use the fixed-installation radius for repeated movement?
The extra-flexible sheathed sheet lists 6 × cable diameter under fixed installation. It does not establish a continuous-motion bend radius. Have the moving installation reviewed separately.
How is a repeated-motion life target established?
Set the equipment duty and required cycle count, then agree a test with the radius, travel, speed, acceleration, temperature and tensile load recorded. The tested construction and acceptance checks accompany any released life result.
CABLE SELECTION & QUOTATIONS
Send your drawing or cable requirements.
You do not need an ANYANG model number. Share a drawing, existing cable marking or a description of your equipment.
Include the quantity you need and any known dimensions, voltage, temperature or movement requirements. We will check the specification with you.
