Wire construction
AGR silicone wire is a single insulated conductor with no outer sheath. If the route needs extra mechanical protection, tell us so we can suggest a sheathed construction.

AGR uses Class 5 tinned copper and metric conductor sizes. The extra-flexible single-core range uses 0.08 mm tinned-copper strands and AWG sizes.
Silicone insulation surrounds the conductor. Its finished outside diameter must fit the terminal, sleeve and routing space.
State the insulation colour and any marking needed for equipment assembly and maintenance.
Size & style
Each field answers a different purchasing question. Two wires with the same AWG size can still be built differently.
| Selection field | Use it to specify | Confirm alongside it |
|---|---|---|
| AWG or mm² | The conductor size | Order in the unit listed for the product (AWG or mm²). AWG and mm² sizes are not exact equivalents. |
| Outside diameter | Terminal and routing fit | Insulation construction and tolerances. |
| UL style, when required | The equipment documentation requirement | The exact style, rating, manufacturer file and supplied construction. |
Custom & supply
Share a drawing, cable marking or equipment requirement. We can review the construction and confirm the supply details for your project.
Discuss your specificationFor assembly review, include the terminal or sleeve drawing, stripping length, routing constraints and electrical or thermal duty.
Packing & delivery
Include the required length per coil or reel, quantity, labelling and destination with your enquiry. Packing method, minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed for the project.

No. AWG identifies conductor size. Finished wire diameter also includes the insulation and is listed separately.
No. Specify the UL style your equipment requires and ask us for the documents for the wire supplied. Silicone describes the insulation material, not a UL approval.
The AGR and extra-flexible single-core ranges have individual silicone insulation without a separate outer sheath. A separately sheathed cable is a different construction.
Silicone hook-up wire is a single insulated conductor with silicone rubber insulation, used for connections inside equipment. Our AGR hook-up wire has a Class 5 fine-stranded tinned-copper conductor, is listed from 0.3 mm² to 16 mm² and is rated U0/U 300/500 V from 0.5 mm² upwards.
CABLE SELECTION & QUOTATIONS
You do not need an ANYANG model number. Share a drawing, existing cable marking or a description of your equipment.
Include the quantity you need and any known dimensions, voltage, temperature or movement requirements. We will check the specification with you.
