Silicone Cable for
Industrial Heating Equipment

Wiring near furnaces and electric heaters.

We start from extra-flexible silicone single-core wire: fine-stranded tinned copper with silicone rubber insulation, 28 AWG to 2 AWG, rated −60 °C (−76°F) to +180 °C (356°F) continuous and +200 °C (392°F) short-term in fixed installation.

HEAT & INSTALLATION

Installation conditions for heating equipment wiring

Our silicone wire is used for wiring industrial high-temperature equipment. Tell us the wire route and installation conditions so we can confirm the specification.

Heat exposure

The temperature limit applies at the wire position: up to +180 °C (356°F) continuously, with short-term exposure up to +200 °C (392°F).

Ventilation & routing

Above +100 °C (212°F), the wire needs suitable ventilation. Enclosed spaces, routing restrictions and whether the connection moves also affect the selection.

Electrical specification

Circuit voltage, load and conductor size decide the wire. Our silicone wire range covers several types with different voltage ratings and approvals, so the rating is confirmed for the type you select.

EQUIPMENT INTERCONNECTIONS

High-temperature equipment connections

Industrial high-temperature equipment is another typical application. The selected wire specification must match the actual cable route and electrical duty.

QUOTATION CHECKLIST

Heat-exposure & connection brief

For a quotation, include the cable route, continuous and peak temperatures, circuit voltage and required quantity.

What information helps?
  • Wire location relative to the heated equipment
  • Continuous and peak temperature, exposure duration and ventilation
  • Circuit voltage, load, conductor size and terminations
  • Movement, routing space, quantity and required documents

BEFORE YOU SPECIFY

Frequently asked questions

Can the wire run inside a hot chamber?

No. It runs outside the hot chamber and away from heating elements, and the temperature at the wire position decides the selection.

How tight can the wire be bent at a heater terminal?

For fixed installation, no tighter than 6 × the wire diameter: 7.2 mm for 28 AWG up to 75 mm for 2 AWG.

What does +200 °C (392°F) short-term mean?

The datasheet specifies +180 °C (356°F) continuous and +200 °C (392°F) short-term, but does not give a maximum duration for the +200 °C (392°F) exposure.
