Construction

Multicore Silicone Cable Construction: Sheathed Example

The factory extra-flexible sheathed series uses tinned-copper conductors, silicone core insulation, tissue-paper wrapping and a silicone outer sheath. Other listed formats have their own constructions.

Illustrative construction for the extra-flexible sheathed series. Core insulation, wrapping and screening depend on the selected product specification.

Example: Class 6 Tinned-Copper Conductors

The factory extra-flexible sheathed series lists Class 6 tinned-copper conductors. Check the selected product for its conductor specification.

Core insulation & identification

The illustrated reference uses silicone core insulation. Include the core colours or numbering required by your drawing; insulation materials depend on the selected construction.

Wrapping & screening

The reference sheet lists tissue-paper wrapping beneath the sheath. A metallic screen is a separate construction feature; confirm it in the selected product specification.

Silicone Outer Sheath

The sheathed reference has a silicone-rubber outer sheath. The duplex wire and ribbon cable listed above are separate formats and are not represented by this illustration.

Selection & use

Core count, conductor size & finished diameter

Core count and conductor size describe the electrical connection. Use the selected product table to check the finished cable dimensions.

Core Count and Size per Conductor

4 × 0.75 mm² means four cores, each with a nominal conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm². It does not mean a 0.75 mm cable diameter.

Finished Diameter and Cable-Entry Fit

Check the finished outside diameter against your cable entry, terminal arrangement and routing space. Different constructions can have different diameters at the same core count and conductor size.

Temperature and Movement Conditions

Include operating voltage, temperature, screening and any movement in your enquiry. Confirm the bend radius and installation limits for the selected cable; a flexible conductor alone does not establish continuous-motion suitability.

Custom & supply

Custom Multicore Cable Specifications and Bulk Supply

Share the circuit layout, cable drawing or existing cable marking. We can review the construction and confirm supply details for your project.

Discuss your specification

Multicore Silicone Cables: questions before ordering.

What is a multicore (multi-conductor) silicone cable?

A sheathed multicore cable contains several individually insulated conductors within a common outer sheath. This category also lists duplex and ribbon formats separately.

How do I read 4 × 0.75 mm²?

It means four cores, each with a nominal conductor cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm². It is not the overall cable diameter. The size table lists that separately.

Can I request another core count or sheath colour?

Send the required core count, conductor sizes, materials, colours and diameter limits. Our team reviews the proposed construction and confirms whether it can be supplied, together with the order terms.

What should a bulk cable enquiry include?

Include the construction, quantity, required length per coil or reel, delivery destination and documents needed. Minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed for the specific order.

CABLE SELECTION & QUOTATIONS

Send your drawing or cable requirements.

You do not need an ANYANG model number. Share a drawing, existing cable marking or a description of your equipment.

Include the quantity you need and any known dimensions, voltage, temperature or movement requirements. We will check the specification with you.
