HOT ZONE
Heated stations on automated lines
Leads to heaters, sealing jaws and curing stations on automated lines. Give the temperature at the cable route, not only the process setpoint.
APPLICATION / Industrial automation
Heated-station wiring, machine connections and motion requirements.
For heated stations and machine-internal wiring, we start from flexible silicone single-core wire: fine-stranded tinned copper with silicone rubber insulation, 28 AWG to 2 AWG, rated −60 °C (−76°F) to +180 °C (356°F) continuous and +200 °C (392°F) short-term in fixed installation.

AT A GLANCE
Each automation connection and the silicone cable we start from.
| Connection | Cable construction | Key point |
|---|---|---|
| Heated stations on automated lines | Flexible silicone single-core wire | +180 °C (356°F) continuous at the cable route |
| Robot joints and servo mechanisms | Flexible silicone single-core wire | No flex-life or torsion rating; motion test required |
| Machine-internal power and control | Single-core wire, or shielded silicone cable (YGGP) where screening is needed | Voltage, core count and screening to your circuit |
CONNECTION TASKS
The factory datasheet lists industrial high-temperature equipment, robot joints and servo mechanisms among the uses of this flexible single-core wire. It gives no cycle-life or torsion rating.

HOT ZONE
Leads to heaters, sealing jaws and curing stations on automated lines. Give the temperature at the cable route, not only the process setpoint.

MOVING AXES
Short flexible leads at joints and in servo mechanisms. Define bend radius, stroke and cycle count so the construction can be tested.

FIXED WIRING
Connections inside machines and enclosures near heat sources. Specify voltage, conductor size, core count and any screening.
SELECTION CHECKS
Include these conditions with your enquiry so we can select the right cable.
Fixed, occasional or continuous movement, with bend radius, stroke, speed and target cycles, decides the construction.
The temperature where the cable runs, including heat from nearby heaters or motors, sets the thermal requirement.
Voltage, current, signal type and the need for screening define the electrical design.

SINGLE-CORE SILICONE WIRE
APPLICATION LIMITS
Fixed wiring, continuously moving axes and screened signal connections require different cable specifications.

Certification is model-specific; the marks on a datasheet do not replace a certificate.Send a drawing or existing cable specification with the following information.
BEFORE YOU SPECIFY
The wire has no published cycle-life or torsion rating in its datasheet. Continuous robot or drag-chain duty requires a cable with a documented rating for that motion.
Yes. Our range includes a shielded silicone-sheathed cable (YGGP) with a tinned-copper braid. Confirm the core count, size and shielding for your circuit.
6 × the cable diameter for fixed installation. A moving route needs its own tested bend radius.
